This installation was probably the most moving work I've done thus far. ![]() There, these notes were available for anyone to see. ![]() This was intended to be a liberating experience, like a confession. We encouraged people to reveal their secrets anonymously by writing them down and leaving them in ‘the Pipeline of Trust’. In addition, we created a place, where under the protection of our masks, the viewer could bring up thoughts they normally aren’t able to reveal. ![]() Our artist group crafted large plywood masks that were hang in Koulupuistikko public park, next to the Design Museum in Helsinki. Even today, we all construct our identities and adjust them according to different occasions. Throughout history, masks have been used to enhance ceremonies, celebrations, treatment of diseases and wars.
